G RESORT HAS DECIDED TO NOT PROCEED WITH BUILDING THE RESORT ON THE CHURCH PROPERTY!

John Fiore had confirmed the week before on this website that the G Resort decided not to proceed and had withdrawn their application for approval from the PNZ. You can all take down those wonderful signs that were obviously such a thorn in the side of the developer. Thank you all for placing them in your yards up and down street after street. They spoke perhaps more loudly than anything... all day long, every single day.

We wish G Worldwide well in their hunt for a property that is a more suitable location. As we have always stated, our issue was always about the location, not the resort itself. Let's see how we can transfer our energy and momentum into the East Neighborhood Association of Wilton Manors (ENA).

We were successful in our cause because we all came together as one voice of reason. Let us maintain that voice as we move forward together.
